WELCOME BACK, EVERYONE!

This past Sunday marked a return to church for most of us after two weeks of winter weather making travel difficult. It was nice to actually see some blacktop and grass as we came together to worship yesterday after being covered with snow and ice for so long! It was also nice to have Pastors Chris and Derek back from their trip to India.

Take a look through this week's issue to get a jump on what's coming up and what you can be praying for this week.

THIS WEDNESDAY

Our youth group will meet for their monthly gathering at the home of Jamal and Brittany Rayan. the address is 246 Kimberly Heights Drive, Nicholasville, KY 40356. If you have any questions about the event, feel free to reach out to Jamal or Brittany. Dinner menu is Chili and Grilled Cheese Sandwiches. Youth are free to bring their favorite dessert if they would like!

THIS FRIDAY

Men, join us at Panera Bread in Brannon Crossing as we continue our study through the book of Romans. We've been having some great discussion and study lately and would love if you can be part of it!

NEXT WEDNESDAY

Our Mentorship Ministry Night is an opportunity for our guys and girls to spend time with parents and other adults in our church and learn from their life experiences and personal walk with Christ. Both events take place at the church and a meal is shared as well as time of fellowship and some games.

IN A COUPLE WEEKS

Painting for a great cause! Our Africa Mission Trip Team will be hosting a fundraiser at Painting With A Twist on Sunday, February 16th. Join in the fun and learn to paint an African Cheetah for a gift or to add to your home gallery. Proceeds will go to benefit the upcoming mission trip to South Africa. For question, contact Elizabeth Estes, event coordinator.

Janet Munch

Continue to pray for her in her recent loss of her husband Steve. His memorial service is scheduled for February 7th at Kerr Brothers on Harrodsburg Rd.

Mrs. Gill

Isaac and John Gill's mother recently had surgery in Pennsylvania. Please pray for her recovery and for Isaac and family as they are with her and will be traveling back to Kentucky soon.

Ministry Focus: LHF Youth Ministry

This week, please pray together for our youth ministry. This past year, we have seen incredible growth in that ministry. Please pray for our kids and for our leaders as they gather this week for their monthly meeting.

Mission Focus: Roehl Tanedo, Philippines

This week, let's join in prayer for the Tanedo family as they continue to minister in the Philippines. Pray for the church (IBBC in Santa Rosa) and for the feeding ministries they conduct on a weekly basis.

Thanks to Joel Rieber and his team for putting on a great Christmas party last night! It was a great time for everyone. Also thanks to all our performers filling our hearts with Christmas cheer during Karaoke, and all of our cookie bakers.

Thanks to the LHF Bakers for another delicious Bake Sale season! Ya'll are awesome. Special thanks to Elizabeth Estes for organizing all the orders and making the Bake Sale as special as it is. Enjoy all the goodies!
